NEW FRIENDS OF THE RETAIL BID
Four more city centre retailers have signed up to become Friends of the Retail BID.
The first of these is Le Chien et Moi which is located on Derby Road. Owned by Pip and Andrew Bolton, the store offers an eclectic mix of unusual and beautiful things, old and new for the home.
Pip said; “We were very keen to become a Friend of the Retail BID as we think it’s an extremely significant and positive thing for Nottingham. We have confidence that the Retail BID will make things happen as we have already seen how they can achieve results. They seem proactive and forward-thinking in their approach and have the strength as a group to get things done that can make a real difference for Retailers and their customers.”
“We are particularly excited about Independent month in July, which is an example of how they can assist small businesses like ours.”
The Retail BID is also delighted to welcome Essence Beauty, Diane’s Cabin and Needles, who are all located in the Broadmarsh Centre, as Friends of the BID.
“It’s great news to welcome so many new Friends of the Retail BID,” said Jeff Allen, chairman of the Nottingham Retail BID. “Along with our levy payers they will become an integral part of the retail scene in the city and as independents, they will also play a key role in helping to differentiate Nottingham.”
