Introduce an indie: The Watered Garden

A weekly spotlight on the fabulous Nottingham Independents, who make our City unique.

The Watered Garden

The Watered Garden, based in Sneinton Market, is bursting with houseplants and terrariums. As you approach the little shop, you’ll be excited to see the wall of green with shelves full of various varieties of indoor plants. This is many people’s version of heaven!

About business:

The Tuckers started the business in Becca’s parents conservatory making terrariums for their wedding. Little did they know the business would literally grow in the way it has. Front of house you’ll see Becca who is the Owner, social media Manager and Plant Doctor! Becca is on hand to advise you on all things plant related, plus outside of COVID she offers a range of workshops to suit every level. Whether you’re a beginner with plants or a novice who’s looking for a chance to get creative, there's a workshop for you!

Fun fact:

The lengthy ladder used in store to reach the plants on the highest shelves was inspired by the Walt Disney film Beauty and the Beast. Could this space be any more magical?! The Watered Garden is very much a family business and you’ll spot a crèche for their little one, reminding you that this business is a labour of love and the importance of shopping local.
