Here's everything you need to know about the governments Eat Out to Help Out scheme before your next trip to the city to enjoy a meal out.
Announced earlier this month, the Eat Out to Help Out scheme offers customers a 50% discount off their food bill when they dine out in participating restaurants. There is however a cap of up £10 per person.
To give you an example how this would work; if a couple went out to a participating venue and spent a total of £40.00 on food and soft drinks then they would receive a total discount of £20.00. Alternatively, if the couple were to spend £70.00 then the total bill would be £50.00 due to the £10.00 cap.
At the time of writing, the scheme is currently scheduled to begin on August 3rd and will conclude on August 31st. If any extensions are happen then we'll be sure to update this page and let you know.
• Maximum discount of £10 per person.
• The discount only applies to food and soft drinks and cannot be redeemed against products such alcohol.
• The scheme only operates on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Discounts will only be applied to food and drink consumed inside the venue; so no takeaways.
To make it as easy and convenient as possible for you to find venues taking part in the scheme we've created a digital map. On the map you'll be able to scan over the participating venues and pin point where to find them in the city. CLICK HERE to take a look.
