The popular pan-asian restaurant is set to re-open their kitchen on Thursday 21st May
Following trials earlier this month, Wagamama have taken the decision to re-open 24 of its restaurants from Thursday 21st May and plans to operate on a delivery only service. The good news for us is that Nottingham is one of the restaurants re-opening. Like many other restaurants across the UK, Wagamama had little choice but to close their doors following the announcement of lockdown and we think it's safe to say that fans of the Japanese inspired chain will be be glad to have them back - We've seen more than a few social media posts asking for it!
Emma Woods, Wagamama chief executive, said: “Over the past couple of months our focus has been on creating a safe working environment for our team members and our two-week trial has enabled our teams to return to work safely.
“The next logical step for us is to open additional sites throughout the UK, this will still very much form a test and learn approach for the business.
“The response of our return has been extremely positive and we look forward to our guests being able to get their Wagamama fix.”
If you simply can't wait until Thursday then you may want to take a peek at Wagamama's 'Wok From Home' web series. The fun series features trained Wagamama chefs teaching how to cook some of the restaurants most popular dishes from home. All you need is the ingredients and something to watch the videos on!
