Treat Yourself to Pieminister:
You probably wouldn't expect a British pie shop's origin story to begin in Australia, and yet, that's exactly the case with Pieminister. After travelling around Australia in their early twenties (and eating pies every day),Tristan Hogg and Jon Simon returned home determined to reinvigorate the humble British pie. In 2003, the first Pieminister opened its doors in Bristol and after somewhat of a slow start (only 5 pies on their first day, can you believe it!?), word quickly spread of the restaurant's delicious gravy filled delights and the rest is history.
Packed with all sorts of mouthwatering fillings, Pieminister's pies are a thing of beauty. Their rich fillings, chunky pastry and to-die-for toppings make this hearty treat irresistibly good. There's no shortage of options available either, with a whopping 18 mouthwatering pies to choose from, including the Moo & Blue which combines tastebud pleasing steak and gooey stilton cheese, The Free Ranger, a reimagined take on the classic chicken pie and The Ruby which is packed with Indian spices and rich butter chicken. There's also an impressive selection of vegetarian delights and gluten free options available that don't compromise of flavour for those of us who aren't all that interested in eating meat.
There's a number of ways for you to tuck into a tasty pie from Pieminister. Take a peek at the full list below:
