Independents Festival 2018

The Independent's Festival arrived in the city centre on June 30th, celebrating all that's great about Nottingham's creative and unique independent scene.

The 2018 festival was centred around four independent hubs of the city, each with its own theme:

FAMILY FUN on Trinity Square  

Family entertainment & activities including arielist displays, dhol & samba drummer performances

10.30am, 11.50am, 1.10pm, 2.40pm, 4pm

Paw Patrol’s Marshall  

In Nottingham on fire & medic duties, the loveable Dalmatian will stop by to meet the little ones.

Disney’s Elsa and Belle 

Bringing a touch of sparkle to the occasion with appearances & activities for your princesses to enjoy.  

Football juggler, Charlotte Lade  

One of the world’s finest female freestyle footballers will be around teaching tricks and turns.

National Videogame Arcade Joust Tournament  

Compete to be named the greatest knight in all the realms in this no-graphics video game designed for motion controllers.

ACOUSTIC SETS on Pelham Street  

Enjoy laid-back vibes as acoustic sets are played throughout the day.

With roll a ball football, juggling, face painting, balloon making & loads more.

Take pictures riding the mock merry go round!

Spreading the festival love were some of Nottingham’s brilliant independent businesses bringing you a host of indie FRINGE EVENTS & STREET PARTIES across the city.
