BY BUS OR COACH

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) is the main provider of bus services to Nottingham city centre and its suburbs, operating over 330 buses and winning national awards for their services. BY TRAM

Nottingham Express Transit (NET) operate the city's tram network, running from the city centre through the suburbs to destinations in Clifton, Toton Lane and Hucknall. There are also seven park and ride locations offering over 5,000 free parking spaces. Visit www.thetram.net for full details.

BY TRAIN

Nottingham central station is easily reachable by direct trains from various parts of the UK. The train station is also connected directly with the tram service for Nottingham which will take you straight to the heart of the city – Lace Market, Market Square or Royal Centre – giving easy access to a number of retail shops, bars, restaurants and café’s.

Nottingham station is approximately a two hour train ride from both London and Manchester or an hour and a half from Birmingham.

BY CAR

From the North From the M1 exit at Junction 26. Follow the A610 into the City Centre, keep following the A610 and the relevant the following car parks can be easily located from the relevant signs.

From the South From the M1 exit at Junction 25. Follow the A52 to Nottingham City Centre. After approximately 6 miles you will approach a roundabout with the Queens Medical Centre on your right, take the 2nd exit towards the city Centre, then follow the signs for the A6200 into the City.

From the East From the A50 take the M1 for one junction to junction 25. Follow the A52 to Nottingham for the city Centre.  After approximately 6 miles, you will approach a roundabout with the Queens Medical Centre on your right, take the 2nd exit towards the City Centre. Follow the signs for the A6200 into the City Centre.

From the West From A52 from Grantham, take the roundabout sign posted for A6011 for Nottingham. At the traffic lights, bear left onto A6520 – Radcliffe Road. At Trent Bridge Inn, turn right onto A60.  Keep in the right hand lane towards London Road. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Canal Street, also signposted for the Queens Medical Centre. Keep in the right hand lane and turn right onto A52 Derby.  Keep in the left hand lane then branch left onto Maid Marian way A6008. Follow the relevant signs for the designated car parks for the City.

BY PLANE

The nearest airport to Nottingham is East Midlands Airport, from which regular Skylink Buses run to the City Centre. 

If driving from the Airport follow signs to Nottingham. At 1st roundabout take 2nd exit onto the A452. At the roundabout take 2nd exit then join the M1 for one junction to Junction 25. Approximately 6 miles, you will approach a roundabout with the Queens Medical centre on your right. Take the 2nd exit towards the City Centre and then follow the A6200 into the city.
