Nottingham Light Night returned for its 13th year. Here's a look back at the event.
For the first time ever, Light Night took place over two evenings on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th February and was perhaps the best year yet! The city came alive with a spectacle of awe-inspiring work from talented artists from around the UK and fun on-street activity including, parades, breath-taking performances, brilliant light sculptures and much more. The innovative augmented reality trail by artist Jason Wilsher-Mills and Paint to Pixel (the gigantic projected installation on Nottingham’s iconic Council House), were among just a few of the brilliant highlights.
As with each Light Night, the event had an overarching theme. This year’s theme was Life on Earth.
The Nottingham Light Night 2020 App
Packed with handy features such as digital maps, events listings and an awesome Augmented Reality camera, the NLN2020 app was the ideal add-on for those looking to get the most out of their time at the event. Whilst it's not confirmed, it's possible that the app will be updated for 2021 so we've left the download links below for you - just in case!
