Family Day Out

There’s a lot to love for families in Nottingham city centre, and below we've picked out a few fun "day out" ideas for you to try.

Lost City Adventure Golf:

Enjoy a round of adventure themed golf at this wonderful Cornerhouse venue, before enjoying a refreshing drink at their Tiki Bar. The winner receives a piece of “Inca Gold” which can be traded in for a free game and as there are two complete courses to try, you might be tempted to cash it in right away!

National Videogame Arcade:

With multiple floors of playable exhibitions covering videogames of all varieties, as well as their Toast Bar for when you need to take a break with a snack and a drink, this is a comprehensive day out for the gamer in your life. Even in the Toast Bar the fun doesn’t stop as gaming consoles and controllers are set up around the room for your enjoyment.

Galleries of Justice:

This award winning historic location acts as a museum of crime and punishment. Hosting a variety of tours and events for people of all ages, you will be entertained, educated and perhaps even spooked! To capture the grim and gruesome history of the building they use actors, audio guides, guide sheets and boards, lighting, sounds, set dressing and exhibitions throughout their events. It’s hard to beat the full sensory experience of the Galleries for a unique and exciting day out.

With such an eclectic mix of things to get up to on a day out in Nottingham (and a whole host more that aren’t even mentioned here) you definitely shouldn’t be left bored, wondering what to do. So get out into the city and enjoy yourselves!
