Nottingham Independents Festival 2019

Nottingham’s independent spirit came to the fore on Saturday 6th July as we celebrated the city’s fantastic independent businesses. The streets were alive with one-off Robin Hood tours, free gigs, and workshops. We encouraged you to get involved with Nottingham’s unique and memorable Independents for a day celebration and the response was amazing!

A little rain wasn't going to stop the great people of Nottingham from turning out in the masses to show some love for Nottingham's amazing Independent businesses. With street parties, live music, fun workshops and plenty more to get involved with, both businesses and the public came together for a day of celebrations that won't be forgotten any time soon!

You can take a look at all the spectacular events and activities that took place over the weekend, below. We've also added in a few awesome photos to look back on. While we love the celebrations that take place at Nottingham Independents Festival, we still very much encourage you to visit and support Nottingham's independents all year around. Why not take a look at our independent directory? You never know when you'll find your next favourite shop, bar or restaurant.
