Try a Taste of Nottingham

Food is one of the major motivators that gets people out of bed in the morning as we wonder: what incredible and unique flavors will we taste next? Or maybe we’re just craving that next cheeseburger. Either way, food is one of the driving forces behind our world and Nottingham is no slouch in the food department. From penny saving purchases to gourmet feasts, you won’t leave the city disappointed.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced lunch you probably don’t need to be told about the well-known chains in the city such as Greggs, Subway and Burger King, but you’ll certainly be glad that they’re here when you need your fix!

It goes without saying that another value option is a cheeky £3 meal deal at the closest Tesco or Sainsbury’s, but what could be cheekier than visiting one of the two Nando’s in the city centre? Don’t answer that, we’re pretty sure there is no answer.

But enough of those big-name eateries we all know and enjoy, Nottingham is also stuffed with unique independent restaurants like Inferno Pizza, where you can enjoy an Infernover plus a drink for only a fiver at lunch time. Alternatively try Tamatanga’s weekday deal where you can enjoy a main plus a drink for £7.95 before 6pm, it may not be on the cheap side of city lunches, but fans of urban-Indian cuisine are in for a real treat.

Fans of high quality burgers may have a meltdown from all the choice in Nottingham, Handmade Burger co, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, and the ever-popular Annie’s Burger Shack are only a handful of the options available. The same dizzying variety also applies to Italian cuisine with Bella Italia, Pizza Express, Zizzi’s and many more making an appearance in the city centre. For Japanese there’s Wagamama and YO! Sushi and…

We could go on, but with such an extensive range of choices, we’re sure you’ll find something to wow your tastebuds in Nottingham. To browse our extensive directory of places to eat in the city click here.
