The Treat Kitchen, Wheeler Gate 

As the nights draw in and the X Factor live shows begin it's time to get all cosy and enjoy something truly indulgent, and these hot choc spoons at The Treat Kitchen are the perfect Autumnal go-to. We can't get enough of the white chocolate with a diddy gingerbread man! Plus, we highly recommend the fresh store-made fudge from these guys, so pop in and treat yourself today. 

The Pudding Pantry, Trinity Square

Now we've got your attention with their epic freakshake it's time to tell you about their amazing Pudding and Dessert Wine Tasting Platters! Enjoy five puds to share and three wines each for only £21.95 per couple - plus quote this blog post and they'll give you 10% off too. You can also enjoy evening puds with later opening hours on Thursday - Saturday. 

Whittards, Bridlesmith Gate

Now these folk do some smashing teas but did you know their hot chocolate is one of the dreamist about? This Autumn they've unveiled their Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate for only £7 which they say goes perfect with a good old digestive biccie. If you've started your Christmas shopping early then why not pick up a Christmas Hot Chocolate Gift Box with mini lattes glasses, limited edition spiced hot chocolate, mini marshmallows and more for £37.50.

Homemade Cafe, Pelham Street 

The lovely Jasmin at Homemade sure knows a thing or two about making great cakes, and if you haven't tried their epic brownies then you're missing out! We're also huge fans of their Amaretto hot chocolate and their great range of vegan bakes - you guessed it, we feel at home at Homemade!

Hotel Chocolat, Albert Street 

Love a bit of the sweet stuff but watching how much sugar you have? Pop over to the chocolate masters on Albert Street and buy their Supermilk pure no-added sugar chocolate, or if you're feeling spook-tacular already then their Boo Caramel goodies are the perfect Halloween treat. 

Slug & Lettuce, Foreman Street 

Have you ever been out for dinner and scrolled the dessert menu unable to make that all important decision? Well the folks at Slug & Lettuce have three small sweet plates for just £7, plus if you visit on Mondays there's 50% off (Excludes Bank Holidays) We recommend the chocolate salted caramel bites, cookie crumb profiteroles and mini choc fondants. 

Cafe Sobar, Friar Lane 

This has to be one of our favourite spots to watch the world go by, and it's made that little bit sweeter with their hazelnut hot chocolate - aka hot nutella in a cup! These fab folk also have a great range of sweet treats to go with this cosy drink - pop in and see them today. 

Chocolate Utopia, Friar Lane

These handmade delights have been a staple in Nottingham since 2004 and their creativity just keeps on giving. Treat someone to one of their spooky chocolate bats, or head in-store and choose from their chocolate menu which includes lemon buttercream, marzipan, whisky and ginger, Malibu and many more.

Studio Chocolate, Cobden Chambers 

Created by chocolate lover Ellie Wharrad, this hidden gem sells some of the most stunning chocolates we have ever seen. The Artist Collection is our favourite and includes flavours such as popping pretzel and mandarin jelly. Plus, head in-store from Wednesday 11th - Saturday 14th October and enjoy half price Hot Chocolate Bombs (a sphere of chocolate with marshmallows inside, which they pour hot milk over and it explodes into a hot drink!) for only £1.50 (normal price £3, only available on drinks in-store, no gift packs)

Thorntons, intu Victoria Centre and Lister Gate

We can't talk about chocolate and not mention classic Thorntons, and their Puddings Christmas Collection is sure to put a smile on a few faces this festive season.  There's a very fruity Blueberry Cheesecake, a piquant Ginger Pudding, an inviting Almond & Cherry Slice, a blissful Manchester Tart, layers of richness in the Chocolate Pudding and a delicious milk chocolate Thorntons Signature and all for only £10 a box.
