Egg-cellent things to do in the city this Easter

4 day weekend + Nottingham city centre = tons of great things to do, eat, drink, see and experience! From dinner and drinks with friends, to the latest in-store offers – our great city has everything you need to have a truly cracking Easter.

Visit them on Weekday Cross to delve into their new Spring/Summer menu, which features black pudding croquettes and a golden beetroot and walnut salad. Check out their menu here.

George’s Kitchen

We go crazy for their fish and chips, but this Easter George’s have created an Egg-spresso martini to die for. Featuring chocolate liquor, vodka, coffee and mini eggs (an office favourite) Find them on Queen street.

Lace Market hotel

It’s Easter and the Queen’s birthday, so why not treat yourself to a royally good afternoon tea at The Lace Market Hotel? Their ‘Fit for a Queen’ tea is only £14.50 per person, and it’s just 90p to add a glass of prosecco! Find out more here.

Malt Cross

Fancy sampling beer and chocolate truffles? Head on over to the Malt Cross for their limited beer and chocolate taster pairing from the 14th - 30th April. Visit them on St James Street for more information.

Treat Kitchen

Looking for something a little different this Easter? The Treat Kitchen have delicious homemade fudge in flavours mini egg and hot cross bun. We’ve tried them all and are now addicted! Find them on Wheeler Gate.

Malt Cross

Easter wouldn’t be complete without a good old egg hunt. On the 15th April simply visit MaltCross on St James Street, find a shiny egg hidden around the building, then take it to the Handmade Nottingham shop next door to claim your prize.

Lost City Adventure Golf

For a putter-ly amazing Easter weekend, head on over to The Cornerhouse and see how many holes-in-one you can score on their Sacred Skull and Temple Trail courses.

The National VideoGame Arcade

Be dizzy in a good way with a fortnight of egg themed activities celebrating the iconic Dizzy egg character. From the 8th - 30th April you can experience Easter egg hunts, design competitions and exclusive games. Find out more here.

intu Victoria centre

Want to meet a dinosaur? (Yes really!) Bring the kids along to intu Victoria Centre on Good Friday from 12pm -3pm and you can get up close and personal with Hunter the giant Sinraptor!

Beauty Temple

Fancy a little me-time? Head on over to the Beauty Temple on Queen’s Street to experience their Easter Mini Egg treatments from the 14th - 17th April. Choose a delicious chocolate treatments for just £15, or two for £25. Find out more here.

Head on over to John Lewis at intu Victoria Centre where you'll find a fab free Easter egg hunt, delicious food tastings, complimentary beauty treatments to help you relax during the 4 day break, plus - you can come and meet their home designer for quick and easy advice to help give your home a new lease of life. Meet the designer is available on Friday 14th April at 1pm and Saturday 15th April at 12pm and 3pm.
