5 City Centre Bars To Celebrate Margarita Day With

Posted on: 22 February 2019

Just when you thought Fridays couldn’t get any better you find out about Margarita Day. February 22nd just got interesting, right? Here’s 5 bars around the city to enjoy one of the classic cocktails in.

Something old, something new. Boilermaker chooser to serve up Tommy’s Margaritas in their establishment and it's a nice change if the original isn't quite for you. Originally conceived in sunny San Francisco, a Tommy’s Margarita replaces Orange Liqueur with Agave Nectar and you won’t find any salt around the rim of the glass either.

Be At One

You’ll have a choice of two fantastic margaritas at Be At One. A quick look over the menu will soon reveal a Tommy’s Margarita and a fruity passionfruit option. The latter is made using Olmeca Altos Reposado tequila , Passoã Martini Copa Collins, passionfruit liqueur, passionfruit and lime. The sugar rim finish will make this one ideal for those of you with a sweet tooth.

Das Kino

Das Kino have opted to go with the classic Margarita for their menu. Don’t take that as short coming though. Practice makes perfect and it really shows from the first sip to the last. You really can’t go wrong with a classic Margarita especially when Das Kino are the ones making it!

Revolucion de Cuba

If you’ve ever had a cocktail at Revolucion de Cuba then you already know you’re in for a treat. The beautifully decorated bar and restaurant may centre around a Cuban theme but a little inspiration from Mexico never hurt and their classic Margarita isn't one to be missed. Go ahead and give it a try.

You’ll find both a classic and Tommy’s Margarita at MOJO. A glance over the bar will let you know that MOJO mean business when it comes to the art of making cocktails. They’re also one of the few venues in the city that are completely down with you letting loose and having a boogie on the table tops. Always a nice bonus on a Friday evening.
