6 Top Picks For Pancake Day In Nottingham

Posted on: 27 February 2019

It’s that time of year again where we get to indulge ourselves in the sweet fluffy goodness that is Pancake Day. We’re really spoilt for choice when it comes to getting a great pancake in Nottingham but luckily for you we’ve picked out six city centre restaurants that are going above and beyond to celebrate.

Bill’s

If you like variety then Bill’s has stacks of it. From sweet to savoury, you won’t be short of options here. Choose from tasty topping options like poached eggs, feta & avocado or indulge with a caramelized banana and salted caramel pancake for dessert! If you’re after a vegan option then smile because the vegan coconut ice cream and mango pancakes are sure to go down a treat.

Bill’s menu will be available for a whole 10 days starting from February 28th and they’ll also be offering £4 cocktails with any pancake purchase because… well why not?!

The Lacehouse

The Lace House will be serving up unlimited pancakes for only £10 per person. Not only will you be able to order all the pancakes you can handle but the price also includes toppings. To sweeten the deal, there’s also a chance to win unlimited pancakes for you and 3 of your friends. All you have to do is purchase a ticket and then tag the 3 pals you’d like to treat should you win. Tickets are sure to become more limited as the big day draws closer so pick yours up early to avoid any disappointment.

Annie’s Burger Shack

The UK might only celebrate pancakes once a year but in the USA they’re pretty much a staple breakfast food. You’ll find fluffy American style pancakes at Annie’s place all year round as part of their breakfast menu but that’s not stopped them from making something special for Pancake Day.

Dig into their deliciously light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes with Prosecco strawberries and rich clotted cream. Available vegan, veggie or meaty with either bacon or a sausage patty. Make sure to head in early as you’ll only find this mouthwatering plate of pancakes on Annie’s breakfast menu, served until 10.30am.

The Horn in Hand

Are you a local legend for how many pancakes you can eat? If so then The Horn in Hand may be just what you need. At only 25p a pancake (yes you read that right! Only 25p!) you’ll be able to eat to your hearts content. The incredible price is only matched by how good these pancakes taste. Add a little maple syrup and you’ll be in pancake heaven.

Ed’s Easy Diner

We think Ed’s Easy Diner might be named that because you could easily sit in there for the entire morning feasting on their delicious breakfast menu. The good news is that you can do just that with their bottomless breakfast offer. While there’s a fine selection of breakfast food available, the pancakes are a stand out dish. Suitably named The All American Pancake Stack, expect to see a a healthy sized pile of pancakes accompanied by smoked bacon, maple syrup and blueberries. The bottomless breakfast is available every day until 11.30am but Pancake Day seems like as good a day as any to pay a visit right?

Das Kino

Das Kino are going with an all you can eat policy for their Pancake Day celebrations and it’s only £7.95 (bargain?!). Not only that but the event has been organised by the Nottingham Pancake Appreciation Society, who we think are probably quite likely to know their stuff when it comes to tasty as heck pancakes. They’ve promised an expanded range of choice since last years event and created some truly awesome toppings. The details about these toppings haven’t been released as of yet but we’re going to trust them on this one! You’ll be able to get your pancake on at Das Kino from 5 - 10pm.
