UK Young Artists City Takeover

With 250 artists from 25 countries and over 100 free events on offer; UK Young Artists City Takeover is an event you don't want to miss. 

UKYA City Takeover comes to Nottingham on 7th - 13th February 2019. The event unites 250 artists from 25 countries to form one of the largest bi-yearly gatherings of national and international artists in the world.

The event will span Nottingham city centre, immersing visitors in an array of extraordinary, innovative and contemporary work, from visual arts to performance; music; applied arts; literature; digital arts and moving image. Whether you love art, music, performance, film or poetry, you’re sure to find it all in Nottingham this February. 

UKYA City Takeover will be discerning and cutting-edge, presenting an extraordinary show of contemporary art, performance and music being made today. Each event throughout the week will be completely free of charge and open to anyone looking to immerse themselves in a week of creativity. 

What is UKYA? 

UK Young Artists is a registered charity that champions the next generation of creativity, supporting collaboration and intercultural dialogue, ensuring a vibrant and diverse creative future for the UK. They develop artists’ practice through cross art form opportunities and celebrate creativity at national & international festivals.
