Nottingham, get ready — the city’s streets are about to burst into colour again this September!

On Saturday 20 September 2025, from 10am to 6pm, the route will stretch from the iconic Victoria Centre, through the bustling streets of Hockley, and into the vibrant Sneinton Market. And the best part? It’s completely free!

This year’s theme, ‘Art is the Heart’, is all about the power of creativity to bring people together. You’ll see that in every brushstroke – from huge murals appearing on city walls to live paint jams, pop-up pieces, and workshops where you can unleash your artistic side.

What’s happening on the day

🎨 Live street art – Watch more than 50 artists create giant murals before your eyes
🌏 International & local talent – From Hong Kong’s Xeme to Birmingham’s Annatomix, plus Nottingham favourites like Anna Wheelhouse, Dilk, Emily Catherine, and Elroy
🤝 Paint jams – Artist crews collaborating in real time across the city
🖼 Pop-up mini-murals – Sneinton Market will be hiding some tiny treasures for you to discover
🎭 Creative workshops – Hands-on fun for all ages
🛍 Art market – Browse and buy work directly from Midlands-based artists
🚶 Guided art tours – Explore the route with an expert guide and hear the stories behind the art
