Booking tickets 🎟️

How will I receive my tickets?

You will receive an e-ticket via email. You will not receive a physical ticket for this event. Your e-ticket can be added to your mobile e-wallet, shown on your email, or printed off. You must show your ticket QR code on entry.

Please check your spam/trash/other folders if you cannot find this email.

I booked my tickets, but I didn't get an email with my e-tickets. What do I do?

In this case, please check your spam/trash/other folders to see if the email landed there instead of your inbox. If you've still not received them, please email Gigantic Tickets.

Although it’s preferable and quicker if you are able to simply show your ticket on entry, please be aware, on the day, we can search by surname to find confirmed bookings. Please do, however, check before arrival at Nottingham Castle that the payment is visible from your bank account, so that you can be confident that the booking has been completed successfully.

We may request a form of photo or named ID to validate your ticket on entry, so please bring a form of ID with you (for instance: photo ID/bank card, or bus pass).

Why can’t I add more tickets to my booking?

Unfortunately, if you are unable to add more/all the required tickets to your booking, the timeslot selected is almost at capacity. In this case, please try an alternative timeslot.

If a timeslot is showing as "Sold Out", then it is fully booked.

We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as many timeslots will sell out fast.

Arriving at the event 🎄

I've booked my tickets, but I can make it for a different timeslot. / I'm delayed in arriving at my booked timeslot. Will I still be allowed to enter?

Due to capacity limits, priority will be given to visitors who arrive within their booked timeslot. While entry outside the allocated timeslot cannot be guaranteed in advance, staff will do their best to accommodate visitors who arrive at an alternative time.

Visitors arriving outside their timeslot should expect possible queues, and entry cannot be guaranteed; however, every effort will be made to assist with admission where possible. Travellers are advised to check traffic conditions before setting off and to allow sufficient time for parking or commuting, as well as for reaching the entrance of Nottingham Castle.

Can I bring alcohol on-site?

No, due to licensing laws, Nottingham Castle is unable to permit any visitors to bring alcohol on-site from outside of the premises.

Will there be bag checks?

Being a visitor venue, Nottingham Castle reserves the right to do spot checks or bag checks on-site as required.

I am travelling, can I bring luggage or large bags on-site?

Visitors are advised not to bring large bags onto the site, including suitcases, holdalls, or large backpacks, and are encouraged to make suitable arrangements for their luggage before arriving at the event.
