Here at It’s in Nottingham, we’re all about celebrating the best our city has to offer. But we also know that a clean, welcoming environment plays a huge role in how people experience Nottingham – whether they live, study, work, or play here, or are just visiting. That’s why we’re inviting local businesses to join forces with us and join Nottingham Clean Champions.

Nottingham Clean Champions is a voluntary scheme that encourages individuals, community groups, and businesses to roll up their sleeves and take pride in their surroundings. And the best part? You only need to commit one hour a week to make a meaningful difference

We know that busy schedules can make volunteering tricky, but litter picking as a team is a surprisingly fun, feel-good activity. It gets you outside, brings your team together, and gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling of knowing you’re doing something positive for your city.

To add a little extra sparkle to the experience, we’ve created Litter Bug Bingo – a fun and interactive game where teams complete a bingo card of quirky litter-picking challenges. Think of it as a mini adventure while making Nottingham sparkle!

How to get involved

Joining in is easy:

Email proof of registration to vicky@itsinnottingham.com
We’ll send you a Clean Champions pack, complete with litter pickers, safety gear, and your very own Litter Bug Bingo cards. We’ll also book a date for your first pick with us!

Your Clean Champions pack has everything you need to get started – whether you want to pick outside your premises, around your neighbourhood, or at a location we suggest.

What’s in it for you?

Apart from a cleaner, greener Nottingham (which is a reward in itself), teams that complete the bingo card will win a yummy prize to share – because good work deserves good treats!
