Just the Tonic Comedy Club

Just The Tonic holds comedy nights at the Royal Concert Hall, The Belgrave Rooms in Goldsmith Street and also at Metronome. It's been running for over 20 years and has hosted early shows by everyone from Peter Kay to Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais.

Glee Club

Glee has been keeping Nottingham laughing for over 15 years as one of the primary venues for comedy in the city. The club has moved this year from the British Waterways Building to their new home at Metronome on Huntingdon Street.

Canalhouse

At the Canalhouse, you can expect a comedy show every second and fourth Wednesday of the month - the night has won multiple awards including Best Open Mic Night and Best Small Club at the Midlands Comedy Awards.

Nottingham Playhouse

Not just home to theatre, the Nottingham Playhouse is host to plenty of touring comedians.

Richard Herring is just one of the names heading to the venue later this year with his critically acclaimed podcast, RHLSTP.

Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall

Theatre, music and comedy are all part of the fun at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall and it’s no surprise that some of the biggest names in comedy stop off here.

A star-studded list of comedians are booked in for a show between now and December 2023, including Judi Love, Tom Davis, Ed Gamble & James Acaster, Dawn French, Jimmy Carr and Phil Wang.

Motorpoint Arena

The largest venue where you can see stand-up with Micky Flanagan, Chris & Rosie Ramsey, Romesh Ranganathan and Michael McIntyre all set to take to the stage as they bring their comedy tours to Nottingham.

Nottingham Comedy Festival

The Nottingham Comedy Festival also takes place in Nottingham each year. Catch this year's festival, back for its 15th year, from 3 to 11 November 2023. 

There's a whole heap of venues around the city that also play host to some great lineups, including The Bierkeller, Binks Yard, Vat & Fiddle, Whistle & Flute, and Pryzm.
