Notts Pride 2026 Is Coming!

NOTTS PRIDE 2026 returns to the city on Saturday 25 July, promising the biggest, boldest and brightest celebration yet. Building on last summer's record-breaking success of 10,000 march attendees, this year will once again feature a vibrant parade, live entertainment and activities for all ages.

This year’s event has the theme, ‘Bolder and Brighter’, and has been commemorated with a new logo created by PJ Dracovich, known online as Sclera Centipede. PJ is a queer comic artist and illustrator who makes original comics, zines, and illustrations. They were shortlisted for the Queer Britain Art Award and Best Experimental Comic in the Changemakers Choice Award, as well as a finalist for Young Comic Laureate UK in 2025.

The theme and new logo will shape the look and feel of the 2026 event, from the parade and staging to visual identity and programming. The event will remain completely free to attend, creating a safe and inclusive space where LGBTQ+ communities and allies can celebrate together.

The event’s main stage will be returning to Sneinton Market, with further entertainment and a range of fringe events and activities taking place across Hockley and the new Rainbow Quarter. These include at Lord Roberts and The New Foresters which will be hosting day-long pride celebrations reaching far into the early hours.

Leigh Ellis, Chair of Nottinghamshire Pride, said: “Notts Pride has always belonged to Nottingham,  it’s part of this city’s history of pride, protest and joy. After the incredible response to last year’s event, we’re coming back in 2026 bolder and brighter than ever, with even more ways for people to get involved.”

Notts Pride is a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers and funded through donations and sponsorship. For nearly three decades, it has been a proudly community‑led event created by and for Nottingham, with all income reinvested directly into delivering the annual Pride celebration and supporting LGBTQ+ people throughout the year.

Since becoming a registered charity in 2014, Notts Pride has worked closely with major employers across the city and county to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion, visibility and equality in the workplace and beyond. Sponsorship enables thousands of people to take to the streets each year to march, celebrate, and be visible, sending a powerful message that Nottingham is a city where LGBTQ+ people are supported, valued and proud.

Through this support, Notts Pride has been able to deliver one of the UK’s largest free Pride events, platform under‑represented and marginalised LGBTQ+ voices and showcase an celebrate LGBTQ+ network groups within local and national employers. It has also helped to create opportunities for community groups, artists and activists to be seen and develops year‑round community activity through the Notts Pride Community Hub. Based in Sneinton, the hub is a free space for hire for community groups to meet, create, socialise and support each other using funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

Every pound raised goes back into the charity, funding infrastructure, accessibility, safety, community engagement and visibility, ensuring Pride in Nottingham remains free, inclusive and open to all.
