Robin Hood's Adventure Trail 2025 - free fun for families!

🔎 Looking for a fun, free challenge this summer that gets you exploring Nottingham in a whole new way? The Robin Hood Adventure Trail is back for 2025 with a new activity – and it's perfect for families, adventurers, and city explorers of all ages!
Posted: Jun 2025
🏹 A free, family-friendly trail across Nottingham city centre
🗓️ From 4 August 2025
Uh-oh — the sneaky Sheriff of Nottingham is causing trouble again! He’s hidden letters all around the city centre, and only the cleverest of clue-hunters can help Robin Hood track down his missing treasure.
11 legendary characters are waiting to be found – each one holding a secret letter. Spot them all, crack the code, and reveal where the treasure’s been stashed. Ready to join the quest?
The challenge is simple:
🗺️ Grab a free map from any of the participating venues listed below, including Nottingham Castle, Nottingham Contemporary, and Nottingham Central Library, or download it here and print it off at home.
👣 Visit each marked venue on the map to find the hidden characters
🔠 Each character will give you a letter - collect all the letters and solve the mystery location
🎯 Once you've found all 11 characters and cracked the code, head to Nottingham Castle to claim your reward!
🏁 Take your time with the trail — there’s no rush to finish it all in one go! Feel free to do it bit by bit, ticking off a few characters on each outing. You can start wherever you like, just make sure you find them all along the way!
