Over 30 businesses have teamed up to create a fun trail encouraging the people of Nottingham to explore the city's unique indies.
The trail will take place on Saturday 7th December and is a collaborative effort between some of the city's most popular independent businesses. The event is part of this years Small Business Saturday celebrations and is hoped to encourage people to discover more of Nottingham's brilliant independent shopping scene. As well as providing a fun day out, you could also stand a chance at winning some pretty fab prizes by taking part.
What is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages the public to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their communities. The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses. With so many brilliant local businesses in Nottingham, Small Business Saturday is a fantastic day out and great opportunity to encourage further originality and independent shopping around the city.
How to take part?
Taking part is easy! Just collect a stamp card from any of the participating businesses on the day and then set out on the trail. Every business you visit will add a stamp to your card and once you have collected 7 stamps you'll be entered into a prize draw. It's worth noting that no purchase is required, simply popping in to say hi and discovering a new independent will earn you a stamp. There's over 20 amazing prizes up for grabs so be sure to hand your completed card in at The Bead Shop, 7 Market Street, by the end of the day on 13/12/19 to be entered into the draw.
