Nottingham, it’s time to celebrate YOU! The very first It’s in Nottingham Business Awards – The Duckies are here, and we’re rolling out the red carpet for the incredible businesses that make our city thrive.

Whether you’re a trailblazing start-up, an independent retailer, a hospitality hero, or a community champion, this is your chance to shine. With 12 exciting award categories, there’s a spot for every kind of business in Nottingham city centre to showcase their hard work, innovation, and impact.

Award categories
From customer service excellence to sustainability champions, there’s a category for everyone.
The Duckies are exclusively open to bricks-and-mortar, high-street businesses located within Nottingham city centre. If your business operates outside this area, unfortunately, you won’t be eligible to apply.

You may enter multiple categories if your business fits the criteria for each one, and you can nominate another business for an award.
How are the awards judged?
After nominations close on Monday 17 March 2025, all entries will be reviewed and shortlisted by an independent assessor. The winners of each category will then be selected by a panel of independent judges.
Shortlisted businesses will be notified by Friday 21 March 2025.
The Duckies Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 29 April 2025.
